I am a joy-filled mother, wife, daughter, friend, yoga teacher, natural hair stylist and business owner who loves patterns, new experiences, making delicious food, laughing hysterically, reading good books and making memories. I live my life simply and try to be mindful of the contributions I make to the world around me. I began my practice of yoga about six years ago through private classes and just before my oldest son was born I began yoga teacher training. Since that time I have enjoyed introducing yoga to people who never thought about practicing, making it accessible to many different bodies and experience levels. I also co-own a natural hair salon in Charlotte, called Revolution EGO. I have been styling natural hair since 2006. While I don’t really touch on hair here, I am only an email away if you have questions.
My husband is my adventure partner and we try as often as possible to make every day a fun-filled excursion. It looks a lot different now with our two little guys in tow, but we are trying our best to raise strong, kind, free-thinkers. I am fortunate to be able to do what I love each day and we are part of a very supportive, talented and multifaceted village. Here in this space I give some insight into my own experiences, the 8 limbs of yoga and the fun lessons along the way. My hope is that something here will help someone else create joy in their own life
